Data deletion instructions
Lightning Leap Analytics is operated by Lightning Leap Analytics Private Limited. When you connect Facebook, Instagram or Threads, we store only what we need to publish your posts and report on them. You can delete it at any time using any of the options below.
What we store
- Your account name, email address and sign-in details
- Connected Facebook Page, Instagram and Threads account names and IDs
- Access tokens that let us publish on your behalf (stored encrypted)
- Posts you schedule or publish through the app, and their insights (likes, reach, comments)
We never see or store your Facebook, Instagram or Threads password.
How to delete your data
1. Delete your whole account
Sign in and go to Settings → Privacy → Delete my account. Confirm from the email we send you. After a 7-day window in which you can still cancel, your user record, sessions and personal data are permanently deleted. Connected channels belong to your workspace rather than to you alone, so remove them first with option 2.
2. Remove one Facebook, Instagram or Threads account
Open the project, go to the channel, and click Disconnect next to the account. Its access token is deleted immediately and we stop publishing. Click the account’s delete control afterwards to also erase its stored posts and analytics.
3. Remove the app from Meta
On Facebook go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, find Lightning Leap Analytics and click Remove. On Instagram use Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites; on Threads use Settings → Account → Website permissions. This revokes our access at once; then use either option above, or email us, to erase what we already stored.
4. Ask us by email
Email kartikaye@lightningleapanalytics.com with the subject “Data deletion request” from the address on your account, or tell us the Facebook, Instagram or Threads account concerned. We reply within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What happens after a request
Access tokens are deleted immediately. Personal data and connected-account data are permanently erased within 30 days. We keep only what the law requires, such as billing records, and a record that the deletion happened.
